Taylor Swift 22, The New Single on iTunes - April 1, 2013

Taylor Swift 22 HQ

"22" is a song by American recording artist Taylor Swift from her fourth studio album Red (2012). It was written by Swift along with Max Martin and Shellback. Production was handled by Martin and Shellback, with Scott Borchetta serving as executive producer. The song is set to be released in the United Kingdom on April 1, 2013. "22" received positive reviews from music critics, who complimented Swift's collaboration with Martin and Shellback and the new pop sound they created for her.

After writing Speak Now (2010) entirely solo, she opted to collaborate with different songwriters and producers for Red. Thus, she called Max Martin and Shellback, two songwriters and producers whose work she admired, to discuss a possible collaboration. She told Billboard magazine: "For me, being 22 has been my favorite year of my life. I like all the possibilities of how you're still learning, but you know enough. You still know nothing, but you know that you know nothing. You're old enough to start planning your life, but you're young enough to know there are so many unanswered questions. That brings about a carefree feeling that is sort of based on indecision and fear and at the same time letting lose. Being 22 has taught me so much."

The song has received generally positive reviews from music critics, who complimented Swift's dynamic new pop sound. Idolator gave the song a very positive review, saying 22 is a thunderous pop track kicking off with a twangy acoustic guitar riff before a propulsive beat that evokes Katy Perry‘s 'Teenage Dream' drops to make way for verses that are cute and likably bratty".
Meanwhile, Billboard also has praised for the song saying that it is "Swift's most blatantly pop song off her career", adding ""22" is all about trying to "forget about the deadlines" and embraces only the most sugary hooks available. Underneath the heel-clicking positivity and shiny production sits the line "We're happy, free, confused and lonely in the best way," a rather stunning meditation on being in your early 20s that's flicked off like a piece of pre-chorus lint. Even when she's having fun, Swift is succinctly communicating conflicting emotion".
Further, Amy Sciaretto of PopCrush also gave it a positive review, saying that the song starts out with an acoustic guitar, but quickly escalates into a fun anthem for sleepover parties. There is some requisite twang, which again might appeal to her country base, but this sounds penned for the teens when she sings about being “happy, free, confused and lonely” at the same time. It has the same cadence and energy as the lead single "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" and some Avril Lavigne-style sass. There is a self-referential sound bite and a clip of the phone ringing.

Several songs from Red, including "22", charted in different countries due to strong digital sales following the release of the album. "22" debuted at number 44 on United States Billboard Hot 100 chart, as well as at number 7 on the Billboard Hot Digital Songs chart with sales of 108,000. It later re-entered the Hot 100 at number 84 on the chart week of January 12, 2013. "22" also debuted at number 29 on the Billboard Canadian Hot 100 and number 129 on the UK Singles Chart.

Luna Story: ELs – Sequel to Luna Online and Luna Plus

Looks like Eyasoft is back in business after facing some financial troubles earlier on, which was partially helped by Nexon Korea buying some of the company’s shares. Business side apart, this is Luna Story: Els, a sequel to both Luna Online and Luna Plus, taking place in the familiar Blueland as well.

If you are wondering what does “ELs” stands for, it is actually the new core feature which will be found in this game. El, in singular form, stands for the new pet beings players will obtain. The focus now is apparently on this El system, which will aid players during battles and provide companionship as well. Players can choose to manually control the Els,although they can be just as effective if the automated command is set.

Els will learn skills, have different grades and levels and also an indepth growth system. If you have played AIKA Online, it will be something like an upgrade of the Pran system. In development will be more features circling around the Els, including housing, farming, and even a smart phone app which lets players interact with them and while on the move and gain extra rewards. Treat it as a second in-game world just for them!

The other feature revealed so far will be the instanced dungeons, coined as the “Infinity Dungeon” system. While not being fully revealed, it is said that dungeons will evolve and introduce new monsters and areas as players level up and re-visit them, hence there will be constant surprises and hidden content each time and players will not get bored. This is something like active scaling if I am not wrong.

I was just about to miss out on the character classes available. The 4 basic classes are Swordman, Assassin, Gun Shooter and Magician. I expect a large class tress similar to the game’s predecessors to be revealed in time to come.

Luna Story: ELs is scheduled to enter Closed Beta something in Q1 2012 (updated Oct 2012 – game is still in development), with the game receiving much praises from overseas publishers in the Business to Business (B2B) area during G*Star 2011. Stay tuned for more info!

                                      Nearby 2013 Releases

David Archuleta - David’s 6th overall album but 3rd US, original-material album “No Matter How Far” will be released March 26th, 2013. The lead single “Don’t Run Away” will be released in February.

Lady Gaga - Currently working on her 3rd album (4th major release). The album is titled “ARTPOP”. This album is being released in the normal physical and digital formats, as well as through mobile devices as an APP which will include a whole database of exclusive features and media. There will possibly be 2 volumes of the album, released at separate times. One volume of more hit pop songs and one volume of more experimental material. There may be an Elton John duet on the album and a song inspired by Princess Diana’s death, titled “Princess Die” (she has performed it live already). Gaga said this album “lacks maturity and sensibility” and the themes of the album are in contrast to the themes of Born This Way. She also called the album more modern. The lead single is said to be a big dance anthem. The album will be released Spring 2013. Fernando Garibay, DJ White Shadow, Zedd, RedOne, and Madeon are confirmed producers. Confirmed songs that have been recorded for the album are a sequel to ‘Telephone’, a collaboration with Kendrick Lamar, a collaboration with Azealia Banks (possibly titled “Ratchet”), a song called “Tea”, and a female-empowerment song called “G.U.Y. (Girl Under You).”
Miley Cyrus - Currently working on her 4th full-length studio album. Miley has now signed with RCA Records (she left Hollywood Records) and hopes to release the album in Spring-Summer 2013. The album is basically finished, with only minor edits taking place now. She now has a new management team that plans on creating “Miley 2.0” and making sure she can “sell out arenas”. Her next album is said to be very sexy, adult-like, and believable. Pharrell Williams, Oakwud, Pop Wansel, Juicy J, Mac Miller, Hit-Boy, Will.i.am, Da Internz, and Dr. Luke are confirmed producers. One confirmed song to be on the album features Tyler The Creator and is co-written by Mary J. Blige. The album will find a medium between old-school country + soul and current pop music, with an urban twist. There’s also some metal influence. In August 2012, Miley said many of the Pharrell songs are autobiographical as Pharrell wanted to free her from her cage. Miley also said she doesn’t care about earning a dime from this album and its gonna “blow her pop star reputation out of the water”. She expressed great happiness in the album and thinks a lot of the songs are her best yet. At the VMAs, Miley described this album as her biggest one yet.
Demi Lovato - Currently working on her 4th album. She said that this time, there’s no holding back with her music. Also, she will not be making dubstep-influenced music and will instead be making songs with more meaning, although they will not all be ballads and will still be upbeat. She wants to bring back “real music” with instruments, like Adele. Kelly Clarkson and Demi have recorded an “anthem” duet together. It is unknown who’s album will include it. Mitch Allen is a confirmed songwriter. The lead single is rumored to be titled “Pieces of a Heart” with a rumored release of February 13th. The album is rumored to be released this summer.
Pia Toscano - Currently working on her debut album, which is planned for release in 2013.  Pia was originally working on this album through Interscope Records but has parted ways with them and has now signed to Underdog Entertainment. This label is helping her create an authentic album with Pia’s opinions mainly in mind. The head of the label has stated that the album will be very contemporary and will have lots of material that sounds like what people are listening to on the radio, along with a small amount of big vocal ballads. Her debut single “This Time” was released through Interscope, so it is unlikely that it will appear on this album. Pia has cut songs with big-name producers and songwriters such as Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins, Bonnie McKee, Babyface, Harvey Mason Jr., Rock Mafia, and Tricky Stewart, to name a few. She cites Kelly Clarkson and Christina Aguilera as contemporary influences for this album, as well as Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey as other influences. Two confirmed songs Pia has recorded for the album are “Dreamgirl” and “Counterfeit”, both of which were produced by Rock Mafia.
Karmin - Currently working on their debut full-length studio album (2nd major release) planned for release in 2013. Nick will be singing more on this album. Also, the album will have more of a rock vibe, similar to No Doubt or Outkast. Pop and urban elements will still be incorporated too. Claude Kelly is a confirmed songwriter. Two songs that have been recorded for the album are “Pulses” and “Boom”.
Selena Gomez & The Scene - Selena has already recorded most of a Spanish album in 2011. However, as of August 2012, Selena is currently working on her 4th pop/English album. The album will be released either this Spring or Summer. The lead single will be released in March. She told ClevverTV in November, 2012 that the sound of the album is fun, loud, energetic, dance-worthy pop music. She stated previously that she wants the album to have a more mature and older sound and she hopes to collaborate with fun., Taylor Swift, and new producers that she’s never worked with before. Selena also stated that this will be her most personal album to date (even though it will not go into too much detail about her relationship with Justin Bieber) and she will spend more time on this album than she has for her first three. Justin Bieber has written a song for this album. Selena has been doing more writing for this album than her past ones. Rock Mafia is a RUMORED collaborator.
Crystal Bowersox - Currently working on her sophomore album. She has been dropped by Jive Records and has signed with Shanachie Records. The album will have very few studio tricks, if any, and will sound unlike her debut album. The album is planned for release in March 2013. Confirmed collaborators include Crystal’s husband and also rock legend Steve Berlin. Confirmed songs include “Stitches” featuring Jakob Dylan and “Till The Whiskey’s Gone”.
Jordin Sparks - Currently working on her 3rd album. The album is planned for a Spring 2013 release with a new single in February 2013. In 2011, Jordin released her dance/electro-pop song “I Am Woman” which was meant as the lead single from this album, but Jordin has since said that she wants to make more old-school soulful/R&B music for this next album so it is unknown if the dance track I Am Woman will still appear on the album. Jordin has said more recently that the album will be similar to “No Air” - a pop song with R&B crossover appeal. John Legend, Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins, Da Internz, Busbee(Dark Side, Try), Ryan Tedder, Elijah Blake (Rihanna, Usher), Livvi Franc (Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera), Priscilla Renea Hamilton (Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez), and Jason DeRulo are working on this album. A duet with Jason DeRulo called “Flirt” has been recorded for the album, along with other collaborations between the two.
Avril Lavigne - Avril is now finished with her 5th album. The album is planned for release in spring of 2013. According to Avril, the music on this one will be the opposite of Goodbye Lullaby. It’s going to be a lot more upbeat & pop. She also stated that the album will still be very emotional and will have a deep message. Chad Kroeger stated that the album will be a mixture of hard rock, indie, and club music. Early on in the album process, Avril said she had about 8 songs from the Goodbye Lullaby sessions that she was going to include on her 5th album. It is unknown if any of them will actually be on the final tracklisting. Confirmed producers/songwriters include Chad Kroeger of Nickelback, The Runners, and David Hodges (formerly of Evanescence).
Orianthi - Her 3rd album “Heaven In This Hell” will be released March 12, 2013. The lead single “Frozen” has premiered and will be released next week. She released a 5-song EP titled “Fire” on October 12th, 2011 to iTunes. The songs on the EP will also be on the album. The album’s sound will be very rock and bluesy, with a Southern influence. Not much pop. The tracklisting can be viewed at http://www.prweb.com/releases/2013/1/prweb10356735.htm . Dave Stewart of the Eurythmics produced the album.
Mariah Carey - Currently working on her 14th studio album. It is tentatively set for a March 2013 release. The lead single “Triumphant (Get ‘Em)” featuring Rick Ross & Meek Mill has already been released along with dance remixes of the song. Randy Jackson said in December 2012 that the album is “hot” and a new single will be released “soon.” Her husband has said that her baby twins have inspired her. James Dupri, Randy Jackson, and Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins are confirmed producers/songwriters. Mariah said this album is “an eclectic mix of vocal-driven ballads, up-tempos and mid-tempos. I’m not one to refer to myself in the third person, but a lot of songs will feel like ‘classic Mariah Carey songs.’”
Beyonce - Currently working on her 5th solo album to be released in 2013. The lead single will be premiered at Beyonce’s SuperBowl performance. It’s rumored to either be titled “Rollercoaster (feat. Miguel)” or “Twelve Roses”. Beyonce has said of the album that she wants it to bring back the sound of ’90s R&B music and influences for the material include Aretha Franklin, D’Angelo, Prince, and Diana Ross. In early August 2012, it was reported that Bey is hard at work on the new album and the security is more intense than ever to protect material from leaking. Kanye West, Jay-Z, The Dream, Diane Warren, Hit-Boy, Ryan Tedder, Justin Timberlake, Timbaland, Missy Elliot, Ne-Yo, Miguel, and Pharrell Williams are collaborating on songs with her. The first song written for the album was about her miscarriage that took place around 2 years ago.
Nicole Scherzinger - Her 2nd album will be released early 2013. The lead single “Boomerang” is out now, but not yet for sale.
—————————————————————————————————————-
Lady Gaga & Tony Bennett - Currently working on a jazz album together. They are working with Marion Evans as a composer.
Kelly Clarkson - She is currently working on her 6th album. She said that due to her status of being happily in a relationship, most of the songs she’s writing are turning out happy in contrast to her usual angry or sad message. Kelly and Demi Lovato have recorded an “anthem” duet together. It is unknown who’s album will include it. In June 2012, Kelly expressed great excitement in a new song Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins has sent for her to record. She said it will be on the next album. She has also been cutting songs with Greg Kurstin (Stronger, Dark Side). Kelly has also recorded a solo country song for the album that Kelly wants to release as a country single.
Britney Spears - Currently working on her 8th studio album as of November-December, 2012. Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins, Danja, Elijah Blake (Rihanna, Usher), Hit-Boy, Ester Dean, and Will.i.am have contributed to the sessions for this album so far. Elijah stated in an interview that the material is “unexpected”, she’s trying new genres (possibly more hip-hop), she’s trying to “push the envelope”, and she’s being a little more personal. Hit-Boy said the new material has more of a “global” and slightly hip-hop/urban leaning vibe. One of the songs recorded for the album is dedicated to Britney’s boys.
Taylor Swift - Currently working on her 5th album. It has been hinted on Twitter that dance/EDM producer Zedd is collaborating with her. Her breakups with Harry Styles and Connor Kennedy are likely to be sources of inspiration for the new material.
Emily Osment - Currently working on her 2nd full-length studio album. Emily is no longer with a record label and she’s creating the new album with a friend of hers she met in college. The album will have a “folky sound”. The album may be released by Ramshackle, which is Emily’s and her friend’s group name.

Allison Iraheta - Currently working on her second album. She said she’s writing a LOT more for this album than her last one and that its going to be more personal and more rock. However, she also said that she’s going to give her pop-loving managers what they want this time around and she has recorded some Spanish songs as well. As of late 2012, Allison is now in a band called Halo Circus which is making an album of their own, so it is unknown if she will continue to release solo music. The Halo Circus album will be more mature, more rock, but still have some pop.
